During the meeting with the Chairman of the Committee for press and mass media communications in the government of St. Petersburg Yury Zinchuk he gave his welcoming words to the International Exhibition of Calligraphy
“No doubt, this project deserves the most careful attention as it is both an original, cognitive and interesting exhibition, and it is also a means which may help revive the lost art of calligraphy. At the same time, one more unique event, the presentation of the first handwritten constitution of the Russian Federation, prepared in joint cooperation with the National Union of Calligraphers and the publishing house “Rare book from St. Petersburg” — is sure to become a milestone in the Russian book industry, and in Russian nationhood.”
Committee will inform the leading St. Petersburg’s editorial offices about the International Exhibition of Calligraphy.
